Middleton is located about eight miles north of Caldwell and eight miles west of Star. West Highlands is 3.5 miles from I-84 exit 25, which is the easiest way to get to the community. The following table details some common drive times to West Highlands:

The initial list of amenities includes a large, kid-friendly swimming pool with shallow wading and in-pool island areas, neighborhood clubhouse perfect for barbeques, birthday parties and events of all kinds, a sand volleyball court, interactive children’s playground, community parks and a fitness center with pool and park views.

5. Is Coleman Homes involved in helping Middleton figure out how best to grow?
Yes. The developer, builders and sales team are all actively involved in the Middleton community, including membership in the local chamber of commerce, Impact Fee Committee and the Economic Development Committee. Collectively, they volunteer and donate resources to help schools and other Middleton services. West Highlands recently donated 3.8 acres of land to the Middleton School District to help Middleton Heights Elementary add new classrooms, expand play spaces and increase parking. They also work with the Middleton library and have put together several events and promotions such as the West Highlands Bike & Trike that have raised funds for donation to the library.
6. Will there be a walking path to Middleton Heights Elementary School?
Yes. From the center of the neighborhood, walking paths (detached sidewalks) will connect the entire neighborhood to the school for easy, safe access.
7. What are the building and design guidelines in West Highlands?
The quality of the building and the design of all homes in West Highlands will be governed by Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R’s) as well as Design Review Guidelines. This allows for a consistently high level of design throughout the community.
